Legal Basics for Your Business Seminar
As part of AMLAC's commitment to supporting members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at Canada (AMJC), seminars are held to educate and inform them on legal matters. In this seminar, members learned how to make legal decisions to protect their businesses.

LSAT Information Session
We are committed to supporting the next generation of lawyers, and one way we uphold that commitment is through our seminars covering the journey to law school. That is why we held a virtual LSAT Information Session, which covered what the LSAT is, study strategies, and resources by a panel of Ahmadi Muslim lawyers in the making.
January 29, 2025:
The Weaponization of Blasphemy Laws
At Osgoode Hall Law School, a panel of esteemed lawyers, human rights activists, and politicians, including Jim Karygiannis, Peter Bhatti, David Matas, Yasser Latif Hamdani, and Maood Bin Tahir, gathered to discuss the blasphemy laws in Pakistan. They detailed how laws are manipulated to target and hurt vulnerable populations and what we, as members of the legal community, can do to help such communities.
November 18, 2024:
The Weaponization of Blasphemy Laws
At Toronto Metropolitan University, legal professionals and academics gathered to learn about Pakistan's blasphemy laws. The panel comprised of human rights advocate Shaan Taseer, Barristers Yasser Latif Hamdani and Maood Bin Tahir, and PhD student (studying blasphemy laws) Azmat Abbas. Will Workshop
Approximately half of Canadians do not have a will; undoubtedly, some members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at Canada are part of this group. To rectify this, a series of Will Creation Workshops have been organized by AMLAC and Humanity First, allowing members to create their wills with legal guidance.
September 9, 2023:
Citizen Rights and Obligations Seminar
Led by AMLAC President Dr. Tahir, members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at learned about immigration hearings, employment rights and obligations, marriage contracts, and dispute resolutions.
